Native Apps Promo
Description: My team and I partnered with marketing to work on a strategy to use our owned channels to promote the download of our native apps. We thought through some options and tests for how we could drive greater app adoption from mWeb and Desktop. Our first step was to redesign the mWeb splash page.
Goal: Drive app installs in H1 2015. Total: 7M native app installs, 2M incremental, 40% growth. Owned channel: 400k Installs (318k iOS, 80k Android, 2k Music).
Results: Downloads from mWeb splash page went from average of 3000 to 7000 in the 1st day.
